Basketball Recap: Hill Country Christian School of Austin Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Hill Country Christian School of Austin entered their tilt with St. Stephen's Episcopal on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They snuck past the St. Stephen's Episcopal Spartans with a 37-31 victory. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Spartans, too.

When it comes to explaining why St. Stephen's Episcopal lost, don't look at Eleanor Evarts. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds. Those nine rebounds gave Evarts a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Lartigue, who posted six points and five steals.

The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.1 points per game. As for St. Stephen's Episcopal, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
