Brewer is a perfect 9-0 against Granbury since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Bears will challenge the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Brewer's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Brewer and Saginaw have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Bears were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Rough Riders. Considering the Bears have won 12 matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Lilly Meller was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kamren Pride, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Brewer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. They are 6-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Meanwhile, Granbury came up short against Azle on Tuesday and fell 11-6.

Preslee Carnes was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two triples, two runs, and two RBI. Rachel Venable was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-4.

Brewer's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-11. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Granbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12-1 record this season.

Everything went Brewer's way against Granbury in their previous meeting back in March, as Brewer made off with an 18-8 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
