The Sacred Heart Gremlins will be home for the holidays to greet the Leeton Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Sacred Heart is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
Last Saturday, Sacred Heart took a serious blow against Sweet Springs, falling 50-16.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Paisley Carl, who scored seven points.
Meanwhile, Leeton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Crest Ridge 59-23 at home. That 59-23 margin sets a new team best for Leeton this season.
Sacred Heart bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Leeton, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Sacred Heart was taken down by Leeton 67-25 in their previous meeting back in December of 2021. Can Sacred Heart avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
