After a string of three wins, Lake Mary's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Pine Ridge Panthers by a score of 4-3. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Lake Mary's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Pine Ridge, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-3-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Mary will face off against Oviedo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. We've got a battle between Panthers coming up. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Pine Ridge 2.3, Eustis 3.6) so any runs scored will be well earned.
