Mojave River recap September 17, 2013
Hesperia moved up to 290 from 419 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mojave River. The Scorpions were able to make move up by beating Victor Valley 35-14.
Oak Hills took down Chino 42-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Nolan Brammer threw for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns in the win.
Brammer and De Zhontaey flecher gave the Bulldogs a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Teammate Reggie Watkins added to the ground attack by rushing for 12 yards.

Christopher Crummel was the best receiver in the league this week as Hesperia topped the Jackrabbits. Crummel racked up 8 receptions for 164 yards. Alex Hammond helped Hesperia's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 20 yards.
Brammer put up the best numbers in passing as Robert Kistner's team beat the Cowboys. Brammer's favorite target this week was Gino Mastandrea, who caught 5 passes for 63 yards.
Kennedy Emesibe made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Bulldogs topped Chino. The 6-foot-3 defensive lineman grabbed 2.0 sacks.
Flecher was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 15 carries, he ran for 174 yards as Oak Hills defeated Victor Valley.
The Scorpions' Austin Williams and Crummel have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Mojave River in both passing and receiving yards. Williams has thrown for 651 yards this season, while Crummel has 25 catches for 368 yards. Flecher from the Bulldogs leads the league in rushing with 574 yards.
Serrano and Quartz Hill played the closest game in the league this week, with Serrano eventually emerging with a 3-0 victory. Geordan King ran for 110 yards during the win.
