They really took it to Pennington for the full four quarters, racking up a 46-18 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Locust Fork sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Locust Fork's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Faith Evans led the charge by scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The game was Evans' 12th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Hope Evans, who scored nine points along with three steals.
Locust Fork pushed their record up to 10-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Pennington, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
Locust Fork will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Appalachian at 5:30 p.m. on December 28th.
