The First Baptist School Hurricanes will venture away from home to face off against the Beaufort Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. First Baptist School is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.6 goals per game this season.

First Baptist School will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals two weeks ago, then bounced right back against Northwood Academy on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' defense stepped up to hand the Chargers a 10-0 shutout. Josh Laney was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

Meanwhile, Beaufort was not able to break out of their rough patch last Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against Bishop England, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Beaufort can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 111th, while Bishop England are ranked 13th).

First Baptist School's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Beaufort, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
