Jones scored the most points they've had this season on Monday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the East Columbus Gators, falling 64-39. The defeat leaves the Trojans without a win on the season.

It was another big night for Jaden Troy, who posted 18 points along with six boards and three steals for East Columbus. The match was Troy's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zay Hines, who put up eight points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

Jones' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for East Columbus, they moved to 3-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jones will square off against Washington Montessori at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Jones is facing Washington Montessori at the right time seeing as Washington Montessori is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for East Columbus, they will venture away from home to face off against Red Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
