After a string of three wins, Maranacook's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap, as they fell 6-12 to Camden Hills. Maranacook were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Camden Hills apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up.
The defeat dropped Maranacook's record to 3-1. The win bumped Camden Hills' record up to 3-1.
Next week Maranacook take on Winthrop/Monmouth Academy at 7:00 PM. Camden Hills will look to defend their home turf against Traip at 7:00 PM. Traip took a loss in their last game and are no doubt out to reverse Camden Hills's good fortune.
