The Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against North Raleigh Christian Academy by a score of 67-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wesleyan Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sara Kate Carr, who scored 19 points along with two steals. Carr hasn't dropped below two steals for five straight games. Ashley Browne was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Wesleyan Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 14-16.
