Boulder and Fairview are an even 5-5 against one another  since April of 2015, but likely not for long.  Meanwhile, Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch  last Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight  loss. They suffered a  tough 11-1 defeat at the hands of Arvada West.
 Fairview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Leo Muth, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 Boulder's win  ended  an  eight-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-1. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
 Everything went Boulder's way against Fairview when the teams last played  back in March of 2023 as Boulder made off with  a  9-1 victory. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Fairview's  Elliot Goldman, who  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with a  triple and a  run. Now that he won't be playing  on Thursday, will it be that much easier for Boulder to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
