Grove City scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Pickerington North, 13-10. At the time, the Panthers were ranked sixth in the state, while the Greyhounds were 156th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Pickerington North, who took down sixth ranked Pickerington North, 13-10.
Thanks to the talents of Jordan Aekins and Kumar Collins Reynoldsburg has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Aekins leads the league in passing with 730 yards, while Collins has rushed for 630 yards this season. Groveport-Madison's Markel Davis leads the league in receiving yards with 400 on 23 catches.
The top two teams in Ohio Capital - Ohio will face off this week when first place Pickerington North takes on second place Pickerington Central. Tom Phillips' team fell to Grove City last week, while Pickerington Central defeated Lincoln.
Two highly touted recruits will be in the spotlight when the Panthers and the Tigers meet this week. Pickerington North features well-regarded senior Jake Butt while Pickerington Central has Taco Charlton, a sought after senior.
Jay Sharrett's team extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Golden Lions, 28-23. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Tigers.
