The Lansingburgh Knights's homestand continues as they prepare to take on the Schalmont Sabres at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around on Tuesday.
Last Friday, Lansingburgh took a serious blow against the Crusaders, falling 75-48. Lansingburgh has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Meanwhile, Schalmont was beaten by the Cadets 82-53 on Friday. While losing is never fun, Schalmont can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while the Cadets are ranked 28th).
Lansingburgh's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Schalmont, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-8.
Lansingburgh came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sabres in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, sneaking past 65-62. Does Lansingburgh have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sabres turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
