Passan was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 2-for-3. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Nico Chiu, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Austin Soulis, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Pembroke Hill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .704. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sumner Academy only posted an OBP of .400.
