Doane Academy lost against the Burlington Township Falcons back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Doane Academy took a serious blow against Burlington Township, falling 69-26. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Doane Academy has scored all season.
Doane Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Shane Bobroski and Jamir Aaron. Bobroski scored eight points, while Aaron scored two points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bobroski has scored all season.
Doane Academy bumped their record down to 3-5 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Burlington Township, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Doane Academy will face off against Westampton Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Westampton Tech focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Friday. As for Burlington Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Trenton Catholic Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Trenton Catholic Academy is ranked 144th, while Burlington Township is ranked 164th).
