The Central Grizzlies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their sixth straight loss. The matchup between them and Clovis wasn't particularly close, with Central falling 77-61. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
When it comes to explaining why Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Na'Jae Stevenson. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. Myron Pondexter-Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with three steals.
Central has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-16 record this season. As for Clovis, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-17.
Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clovis also has no future games currently scheduled.
