Luxemburg-Casco entered their tilt with Waupaca on Monday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They blew past the Comets 8-1. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won ten matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Luxemburg-Casco's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Waupaca, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-22.

Waupaca has already played their next game (against Iola-Scandinavia), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Luxemburg-Casco will be paying especially close attention to the Comets' contest: after the Comets face off against the Thunderbirds, they'll take on Luxemburg-Casco again on Monday.
