Hannah-Pamplico is 1-8 against Lake View since January of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Hannah-Pamplico Raiders will look to defend their home court against the Lake View Wild Gators at 6:15 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Hannah-Pamplico has not done well against Green Sea Floyds recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Hannah-Pamplico came out on top against Green Sea Floyds by a score of 48-37.
Meanwhile, Lake View can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent game last Friday. They were the clear victor by a 48-23 margin over Green Sea Floyds. Winning may never get old, but Lake View sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Lake View had a senior duo take command as Gwendasia Page dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten steals and Jaleya Ford scored 17 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Ford has scored at least a third of Lake View's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zy'Kiara Waters, who scored 11 points along with four steals.
Hannah-Pamplico's win bumped their record up to 3-13. As for Lake View, they pushed their record up to 14-4 with that victory, which was their 15th straight at home.
Hannah-Pamplico was dealt a bruising 57-16 loss at the hands of Lake View in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. The matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Hannah-Pamplico was down 35-10.
