North Olmsted and Normandy are an even 3-3 against one another since October of 2021, but not for long. The Eagles will welcome the Invaders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Olmsted will be strutting in after a win while Normandy will be coming in after a loss.
On Thursday, North Olmsted got the win against Valley Forge by a conclusive 3-0. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Patriots: they've now won eight in a row.
While North Olmsted might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Valley Forge scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 25-18.

North Olmsted's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Nela Bosch led the charge by getting ten digs and four aces. Those four aces gave Bosch a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brooklyn Johnson, who had ten digs and three aces.
They weren't the only good servers: North Olmsted was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 24 consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Meanwhile, Normandy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rocky River.
Normandy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-17, 25-13, 25-22.
Normandy's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for North Olmsted, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
