Big Sandy has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hull-Daisetta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Big Sandy put up the most runs they have all season on Wednesday. They never let Leggett get on the board and left with a 19-0 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Jasper Hardy
Corbin Cude and Jasper Hardy were major factors while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Cude pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hardy tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Big Sandy is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-11 otherwise. At bat, Cude went 2-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Hardy went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That triple marked the first that Hardy has hit this season.
In other batting news, Big Sandy got a massive performance out of Ezekiel Angel, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one stolen base. That's the most runs Angel has posted since back in March of 2025. Another player making a difference was Josh Oliver, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and four RBI.
Big Sandy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Hull-Daisetta entered their contest against Evadale on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Bobcats lost 23-10 to the Rebels.
Gauge Russell led a balanced group of hitters, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three RBI and one double. Brayden Fregia was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.
Big Sandy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Hull-Daisetta, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-3.
