The St. Paul's Wolves came tearing into Tuesday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18 points) and they left with even more momentum. They secured a 63-58 W over Woodlawn-B.R.. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Woodlawn-B.R.'s loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tyler Knox, who scored 17 points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Kelinee Stone, who scored 17 points.
St. Paul's has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season. As for Woodlawn-B.R., their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
St. Paul's will head out on the road to face off against Mandeville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mandeville will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Woodlawn-B.R. will take on Broadmoor at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Broadmoor has now lost 15 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 16.
