Leetonia has enjoyed a two-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the United Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Leetonia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Leetonia came up short against United and fell 58-51. Leetonia has struggled against United recently, as their game on Tuesday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Carson Brock, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of CJ Faulkner, who scored 12 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Leetonia's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for United, their win bumped their record up to 5-7.
Leetonia came up short against United in their previous meeting on Tuesday, falling 58-51. Can Leetonia avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
