Simi Valley scored the most points they've had this season on Wednesday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 73-64 to the Knight Hawks. Even though they lost, the Pioneers' still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 52.8 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Several Pioneers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Andrew Oglivie, who shot 64% from the field en route to 15 points and seven boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jed Del Rosario, who went 6-for-10 on his way to 13 points.

Simi Valley is on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4. As for Knight, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Simi Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-38 defeat against Pilibos on the 28th. As for Knight, they have also already played their next contest, a 70-48 victory against Valencia on the 28th.
