Kiel is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Kewaskum is on a seven-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Raiders will host the Indians at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Kiel 2.2, Kewaskum 3.1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Thursday as neither Kiel nor Two Rivers made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Raiders never let the Purple Raiders get on the board and left with a 4-0 win.
The result came thanks to Aaron Stephany's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Kiel saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ben Gross, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Gross a new career-high.
Meanwhile, Kewaskum made easy work of Winneconne on Thursday and carried off a 6-0 victory. Considering the Indians have won eight games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Kingston Grisolono made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Grisolono was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, Tyler Densow was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Andrew Reichert, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Kewaskum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Kiel, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Kiel has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Kewaskum struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Kiel was able to grind out a solid win over Kewaskum in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, winning 6-3. Do the Raiders have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
