Canton Central Catholic waltzed into their game on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 57-16 victory over the Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 25 points or more this season.

Despite the defeat, Andrews Osborne Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alejandra Gil posted nine points and four steals. That was a full 56.3% of Andrews Osborne Academy's points, marking the third time in a row Gil has earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Belen Fueyo Jiminez, who scored three points.

Canton Central Catholic's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points over those games. As for Andrews Osborne Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Canton Central Catholic wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 61-45 victory against Mineral Ridge on the 18th. Andrews Osborne Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
