The Riverside Panthers's eight-game losing streak came to an end on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-40 win over Lexington. For Riverside, this counts as revenge for the 69-61 defeat Lexington walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.
Riverside's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but James Harralston led the charge by scoring 13 points. Jack Cupples was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Riverside's victory bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Lexington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-5.
Riverside and Greenfield will round out the year against one another at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th at. Greenfield is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Lexington will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Scotts Hill at 6:00 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
