Having just played yesterday, the Westview Chargers will jump right back in to play the King's Fork Bulldogs at 2:45 p.m. on Thursday. Westview is looking to tack on another W to their 12-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
On Wednesday, Westview strolled past Keenan with points to spare, taking the game 56-42.
Mccall Sims was her usual excellent self, scoring 28 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Westview's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylee Alexander, who scored 11 points.
Meanwhile, King's Fork's recent rough patch got a bit rougher last Tuesday after their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 53-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of Deep Creek. While losing is never fun, King's Fork can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while Deep Creek is ranked fifth).
Westview's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for King's Fork, they have fallen quite a ways from their 20-7 record last season and are now at 0-3.
