Philip hasn't had much luck against Wall recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Philip Scotties will take on the Wall Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Philip is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season.
Philip made up a huge gap compared to their last game against White River, but still couldn't quite topple them. Philip blew past White River 62-41 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Scotties have posted since January 30th.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Philip to victory, but perhaps none more so than Drew Terkildsen, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. Terkildsen also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Philip is 5-2 when she posts at least five steals, but 5-7 otherwise. Fayth Martin was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and ten boards.
Philip smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Wall had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.5 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They walked away with a 44-32 victory over the Broncs.
Wall's win came from a few key players Philip will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Emmy Moon, who posted nine points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. Another player making a difference was Allie Kjerstad, who en route to 17 points.
Philip now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Wall, their record now sits at 12-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Philip has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 28.4 boards per game. However, it's not like Wall struggles in that department as they've been averaging 34.4 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Philip beat Wall 52-45 when the teams last played back in January. Does Philip have another victory up their sleeve, or will Wall turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
