Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Noah McKinney, who scored seven points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Christian Mullady, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Florence to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josh Nelson, who scored 11 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nelson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Stenson, who scored nine points along with seven steals.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Florence, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Palo Verde at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Florence, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m.
