First Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Logan James, who scored 18 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points James has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Rylan Peacock, who scored 14 points.
Despite the defeat, St. Teresa's Catholic saw an underclassman step up: Sermario MJ Wiggins scored 20 points. Dyland Rangel was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
First Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-6. As for St. Teresa's Catholic, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 2-5.
