The Timberland Wolves's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Fairfield Central Griffins at 4:00 p.m. on December 22nd. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, it was a hard-fought match, but Timberland had to settle for a 31-28 loss against Berkeley. Timberland has struggled against Berkeley recently, as their match on Friday was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was China Greene, who scored ten points along with five steals. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. Kennedy Ravenell was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Meanwhile, Fairfield Central's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Lower Richland at home and fell 67-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Fairfield Central has scored all season.
Timberland's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fairfield Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.
