Maumee is a perfect 10-0 against Napoleon since September of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Panthers will welcome the Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Maumee has four straight wins, Napoleon has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.
Maumee barely beat Genoa Area the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Panthers put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 3-0 victory on Thursday.
Maumee never let Genoa Area on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-16, 25-22.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Monday's matchup: Maumee has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Napoleon struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Everything went Maumee's way against Napoleon in their previous meeting back in October of 2022, as Maumee made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
