Winnfield took down Bunkie 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Tigers led 2A District 2 in scoring this week by notching 49 points on the Panthers.
General Trass's dynamic duo of Allen Bruce and Bradrick Clemens proved to be unstoppable against Vinton, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Bruce threw for 151 yards and 1 touchdown and Clemens had 52 yards receiving. Kelton Campbell helped General Trass' passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 30 yards.
Fred Jackson made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Panthers fell to the Lions. The 6-foot-4 senior grabbed 1 sack.
Ferriday's Shannon Morales and Adrian Wiggins led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-2 quarterback Morales has thrown for 1,447 yards this season, while Wiggins has 41 catches for 857 yards. Jaylon Wade from Sterlington leads the league in rushing with 1,390 yards.
The Panthers' Austin Haman is a mere 27 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 114 carries Haman has put up 973 yards this year.
Oak Grove made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,762 from 4,860. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 47-8 victory over the Trojans last week.
