Meanwhile, Princeton had to endure a seven-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against Naaman Forest on Friday as Princeton made off with a 55-35 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.
Princeton relied on the efforts of Marcus Flowers, who threw for 321 yards and five touchdowns while completing 76% of his passes, and Vincent Aparicio, who picked up 188 receiving yards and two touchdowns. With that strong performance, Aparicio is now averaging an impressive 110 receiving yards per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Jakeylen Perkins, who picked up 52 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Princeton's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Nicholas Willis and Cameron Drake. Princeton got some further help from Nick Rodriguez: he made 15 total tackles.
