The Bellows Falls Terriers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against Green Mountain as Bellows Falls made off with a 63-42 win. Bellows Falls has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.
Bellows Falls was led to victory by Delaney Lockerby and Abby Nystrom. Lockerby scored 15 points along with six rebounds and three steals, while Nystrom scored 18 points along with six assists and four steals. Nystrom is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Laura Kamel, who scored seven points along with 11 rebounds.
The victory (which was Bellows Falls' third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Green Mountain, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-12.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bellows Falls will take on Leland & Gray at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Green Mountain, they will be playing in front of their home fans against White River Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. White River Valley is coming into the match with three straight victories on the road, so Green Mountain is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum.
