All Saints Episcopal's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Manny Mizer, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Mizer continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caz Franks, who scored 12 points.
All Saints Episcopal has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-16 record this season. As for Prince of Peace, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. All Saints Episcopal will take on Covenant at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Prince of Peace, they will head out on the road to challenge Dallas Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Dallas Christian is on a three-game streak of home wins, Prince of Peace a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
