Softball Recap: Hamilton Wins Going Away Against Maxwell

Hamilton won the last time they faced Maxwell and things went their way on Thursday too. The Braves blew past the Panthers 17-1. The Braves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matchups by seven runs or more this season.

Hamilton got a massive performance out of Jordyn Rodgers, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Brieana Day, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

Hamilton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. They are 9-1 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Hamilton's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-9. As for Maxwell, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-16-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Hamilton nor Maxwell have any future games scheduled.
