Blue Valley Northwest was the 5-1 winner over Blue Valley North when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Huskies took a 4-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Blue Valley Northwest can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas soccer rankings (they are ranked 41st, while Blue Valley North are ranked first).

Blue Valley Northwest is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8-1. As for Blue Valley North, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

As for Blue Valley North, they will face off against Notre Dame de Sion at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
