Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Patrician Academy walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Edgewood Academy Wildcats on Friday as they made off with a 35-14 win. The Saints might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Remington Faile produced another solid performance rushing for 217 yards and four scores while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Those 217 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ridge Russell, who rushed for 113 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Patrician Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 434 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 293 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Patrician Academy's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-0. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.7 points on average over those games. As for Edgewood Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Patrician Academy nor Edgewood Academy have any future games scheduled.
