The Pinecrest Academy Paladins's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a   58-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of Strong Rock Christian. While losing is never fun, Pinecrest Academy can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings  (they are ranked 361st, while Strong Rock Christian is ranked 97th).
 Despite the  defeat, Pinecrest Academy had strong showings from  Joe Frain, who  scored 23 points along with five  rebounds, and  Johnny Lynch, who  scored 15 points. Frain scored a full 43.4% of Pinecrest Academy's points, the fifth time in a row he's  earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Matthew Mitchell, who  scored nine points.
  Zack Phillips continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Strong Rock Christian,  scoring 27 points along with five  rebounds. The  contest was  Phillips' tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was  Nate Andrews, who  scored seven points along with eight  rebounds.
 Pinecrest Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Strong Rock Christian, the  victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 11-0.

Horizon Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to  a six-game streak of away losses.
