The Redmond Mustangs had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They secured a 48-42 W over Inglemoor on Friday. The win was just what Redmond needed coming off of a 93-36 loss in their prior match.
Redmond's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Iha Kasam, who scored 17 points. The matchup was Kasam's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Schneider, who scored 13 points.
Redmond now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Inglemoor, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Redmond will be home for the holidays to greet Bellevue at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Bellevue is ranked 101st, while Redmond is ranked 79th). Inglemoor won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Woodinville at 4:30 p.m. on December 16th. Woodinville is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
