Linganore scaled the state rankings by moving to 24 from 59 this week, the biggest jump in Monocacy Valley - Piedmont. The Lancers were able to make move up by defeating Westminster 41-20.
Governor Thomas Johnson was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after besting South Hagerstown. The Patriots came in at 21 in the state poll after placing at number 54 last week.
Middletown's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tim Pirrone threw for 47 and 3 touchdowns and Mitch Sgrignoli had 19 yards receiving. On the ground Brad Rinehart chipped in 92 yards.
