The Manitou Springs Mustangs's game on Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. Everything went their way against Pueblo Centennial as Manitou Springs made off with a 47-27 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Manitou Springs also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Tori Greene continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 12 points along with eight steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Kate Jorstad, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Manitou Springs has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Pueblo Centennial, they bumped their record down to 2-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.
Manitou Springs will head out on the road to face off against Salida at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pueblo Centennial, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Pueblo County at 6:00 p.m.
