The North Harrison Cougars's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fifth straight loss. They lost to Heritage Hills at home by a decisive 56-42 margin. North Harrison lost against Heritage Hills in their previous head to head back in November of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 45-34 score last time.
It was another big night for Carlie Still, who scored 21 points along with 4 steals for Heritage Hills. Still is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now stole two or more in the last three games she's played. Hadley Leibering was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with 7 rebounds.
North Harrison bumped their record down to 2-7 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. As for Heritage Hills, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Harrison has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Jasper at 7:30 p.m. on November 28th. Heritage Hills will take on Tell City at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
