After two weeks on the road, Oriskany is heading back home. On Saturday they will take on New York Mills at 3:00 PM. Oriskany strut in flaunting some offensive muscle with an average of 32.4 points per game.
Oriskany took an ego-bruising loss against Bishop Grimes two weeks ago, but they kept their chin up and bounced back last Friday. Oriskany put a hurting on Pulaski to the tune of 54-6.
Meanwhile, after a dominant victory in their matchup, New York Mills were humbled last Saturday. They found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 30-60 punch to the gut against South Lewis. The state rankings had actually given New York Mills a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
Oriskany's win lifted them to 3-2 while New York Mills's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. We'll see if Oriskany's success rolls on or if New York Mills are able to steal their positive momentum.
