Bristol Eastern had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Watertown Warriors 17-1.
 Leah Webber made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits. Webber was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Those  two  hits gave  her a new career-high.

 Coming up, Bristol Eastern will head out to  challenge Law  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Watertown, they will have a little extra prep time after the  loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Seymour at 4:00  p.m.  on April 16.
