The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rubidoux, who took down 322nd ranked Rubidoux, 49-42. Sty Hairston threw for 17 yards and ran for 347 yards in the win.
Rim of the World extended the longest winning streak in Mountain Valley this week by beating Jurupa Hills, 44-0. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
The Falcons' dynamic duo of Jalen Pontious and Deontre Washington proved tough for Banning to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Pontious threw for 185 yards and three touchdowns and Washington had 130 yards receiving. Daniel Young helped Rubidoux's passing attack out by catching one ball for 30 yards.
Notre Dame's Paul Bradvica and Anthony McMaster have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Bradvica has thrown for 1509 yards this season, while McMaster, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 26 catches for 459 yards. The Broncos' Hairston leads the league in rushing yards with 1804.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Titans take on Banning. Notre Dame is currently in fifth, while John Stockham's team is in second.
The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Citrus Valley takes on Rim of the World. The Blackhawks have allowed 162 points this season, while Bob Gradillas' team has given up 81. Citrus Valley allowed 14 points last week as it beat Peter McGowan's team.
The Broncos moved up to 265 from 370 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Mountain Valley. Banning was able to make the jump by defeating Rubidoux 49-42.
