The Apex Friendship Patriots won the last time they faced the Middle Creek Mustangs, and things went their way on Friday too. Apex Friendship came out on top against Middle Creek by a score of 30-21. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Apex Friendship.
Apex Friendship can attribute much of their success to Jaden Avery, who rushed for 149 yards and two touchdowns. Brendan Patience was another key contributor, rushing for ten yards and a touchdown.
Apex Friendship's victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2. As for Middle Creek, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Apex Friendship will head out on the road to face off against Green Level at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Green Level is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. As for Middle Creek, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Cary at 7:00 p.m. Cary will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 277th, while Middle Creek is ranked 85th).
