If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Michigan Collegiate. On Friday they take on Summit Academy North at 7:00 PM. Michigan Collegiate are coming into the contest hot, having won five in a row.
Last Friday, Michigan Collegiate put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They made easy work of Old Redford Academy and carried off a 34-0 victory. 34 seems to be a good number for Michigan Collegiate as the team scooped up a win with the same point total in their matchup two weeks ago against Harper Woods.
Meanwhile, Summit Academy North took a serious blow against Chandler Park Academy, falling 0-48.
Michigan Collegiate's victory lifted them to 5-0 while Summit Academy North's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Michigan Collegiate can add another positive mark to their record or if Summit Academy North can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Michigan Collegiate's step.
