Volleyball Recap: Norwalk Starts Season with Victory Against Pacifica

Norwalk had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Pacifica Mariners on Tuesday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Lancers not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 2, 2024 (when they won 3-0).

Norwalk's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pacifica to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 25-8.

After both having extra time off, Norwalk and South El Monte will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday. As for Pacifica, they will challenge St. Anthony at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
